Culture, Standards & Program Identity - ONHSFB

This group is a dedicated space for verified Ontario high school football coaches within OFSAA to discuss, develop, and share ideas around program culture, leadership, and coaching philosophy.

Unlike scheme- or system-specific groups, this space focuses on the “why” behind football programs and how teams are built, sustained, and led across a full season and long-term cycle.

Coaches are encouraged to contribute on topics such as:

• Program identity and core values

• Team standards, expectations, and accountability systems

• Leadership development (captains, player leadership groups)

• Building buy-in and culture in school environments

• Staff alignment and coaching cohesion

• Handling adversity, discipline, and program consistency

• Off-field culture (academics, community, behaviour standards)

• Long-term program building strategies (multi-year development models)
  

This is a high-level professional discussion space focused on shaping sustainable football programs across Ontario high school football.

All contributions should be thoughtful, experience-based, and centered on improving the overall standard of coaching and program development within OFSAA football.
